I find it hard to believe that these boards used to be a place where intellegent people had long, and entertaining fictional fights. But it's true.

Now what is it? A place where mentally retarded kids fight eachother in ways that make little to no sense. The fights are supposed to stay the way they are, not change every 10 posts, as evident in the "Elimination Chamber" topic. If the topic says "Elimination Chamber", then leave it that way. There is NO reason why that topic had to magically transform into a lame school brawl.

We used to get in depth descriptions of what happens, and the smarter person always won. Now, the posts are ALWAYS "lol i punhc u in da head 4 10 damage hp points lol", followed by "na-uh u missd me so i kick u in da ankle doing 20 damage points". PLEASE PEOPLE. This board isnt for lame crap fights like those!

And, to make matters worse, just about every current fight is based off of the WWE. KEEP IN MIND THAT NOT EVERYONE WATCHES WWE. In fact, it's only a small percentage of VGF users. There's no reason to have 2 WWE based topics, especially in a place where VERY FEW users watch the damn program.

I deeply apologize if I've insulted anyone, but SERIOUSLY. This board is becoming worse and worse every day. I can only imagine how the veterans of these types of boards feel. Probably a hell of a lot worse then I do, considering the fact that I never use them.

I sort of understand what you're talking about. Back when the OG board was buzzing, there was at least one good OG that you could read and post on. Every now and then a newb would break the story (intentionally or not), but we would either fix it or ignore it competely.

I suppose the best course of action, if you want to live a happy life, is to create your own battles with members known to be reasonable, and ignore the newbs if they're not you're cup of tea. The (unfortunate) reality is that this is an open board, and if people want to talk like they're on AOL, they have the tacit right to do so; I just hope they don't do it just because it's a right.

Well, I wasn't here when the original BB's were about so I've no idea in what to do in them. I've only been shown the way that I now post on here. Likewise with the Bart, Jace, VG_A.

The reason why most topics are Elimination Chamber, Royale Rumble, etc is because no-one's actually posting fights except for Jace, Bart, etc. Who are avid fans of WWE.

I am sure if veterans started to actually post in here. I'm sure it would start getting better. Hint, Hint.

^ You're not doing bad at all. Especially since your moves are not all wrestling moves, like Bartman and Jace's seem to be.

The things that bother me are the things that Bartman does (like switching scenes randomly during a fight).

It's pretty hard to use these kinds of boards, since they usually require a LOT of typing. I've seen battles with every post being a full paragraph. o_0

Look, the greater the amount of punctuation you use, the more it decreases the effectiveness of each of your posts. One is good, two is a bit more, three is pushing it, four or more smacks of not knowing enough words to properly express what you're trying to say.
