So I went to Burger King today.

Posted 05-25-2008 at 10:51 AM by Jesus
I was shocked at the sizes. Small, Large, and King size. Why the hell should Mcdonalds get rid of Super Size but Burger King is still able to get away with King size? It's rediculous and pure discrimination against Mcdonalds. I have a feeling SuperSize Me was paid for in part by Burger King.

Buger King isn't "getting away" with a large burger. McDonald's just chose to get rid of theirs.

I think Burger King's the only one that has 'em now. I know that Wendy's got rid of Biggie sizes.

You saw how McDonalds gets flamed for being unhealthy, yet Burger King is just as bad (if not worse) and they get no beef from the health freaks. It doesn't make any sense especially since McDonalds is AT LEAST making an attempt to offer healthy choices and how Ronald McDonald encourages kids to "get up and play". Burger King is just like "Hey, wake up with the king. Eat more whoppers and whopper jrs. Also, watch these fighting chickens on PAY PER VIEW!".

I'd say they are both on the same level actually along with Wendy's and Sonic.

McDonalds: >99 billion served.
Sonic: Hasn't even finished spreading across the US.
Wendy's: Now owned by Arby's. Bought out for 2 billion.

McDonald's is worth far more.

But yet, where does Burger King rate? Same as McDs right? And twice as unhealthy but yet they don't get the beef from the health freaks like McDonalds does.

Pfft, as if. The King practically comes up to your bed waiting for you to eat right as you wake up.

McDonald's has more restaurants as I've seen in my travels, and they're a bigger franchise.

But still...Burger King is more fattening so wouldn't it make sense for health freaks to go after them more than McDonalds?

No, as I said, McDonald's has more restaurants and it's more popular.
