Steampunk Nightmare 1 (?)
Thump Thump Thump went the footsteps of the giant as he walked though a ruined tenements and twisted metal. His Black armor and giant club pushing dust and stone out of the way of its path, the giant made a clear path of where he came from. What it was looking for has eluded him again, but he would never give up, not as long as his prey is still in the area. He continued to look around, but he refused to disturb the dystopia as long as he didn’t have to. He was unable to notice the teen standing under the roof of a small office building. He had woken up in this dystopia, unable to tell how it happened; neither did he know where he was. All he knew was that this giant was after him. Whether it was for food or a lust for killing, it didn’t matter. What he needed to do was escape. If he could find a car, or a Motorcycle he could outrun the giant. On foot, however, it would be a minute before he was caught. He had to think ever so carefully, as one wrong move would get him spotted and killed.
He slowly moved along the bare wall, making sure he wasn’t making any noise until he finally got to the doorframe. Then, moved into the next room, only this time it had more of a wall, so the Giant couldn’t immediately see him. The teen made his way to the stairs so as not to get himself into the giant’s sight. After what seemed like an hour he made his way to the stair and slowly climbed. Step after step there was an annoying creep and with each one, he felt a giant pain all over his body, as if his pain receptors expected the giant’s club to come out and smash him. I may even be that the Teen is slowly dieing which in turn causing him to ache all over his body, but he didn’t put too much thought into it. He had finally made it to the top floor, and saw a locker from across the room. The teen hoped that there was a weapon, some keys, or even some sort of bomb that could help him out of this dire situation. He slowly moves towards the locker, only to hear a loud cracking sound. He turns around to see the wall destroyed and the giant peering into his soul.
Never before had the teen ran so fast. He felt like he was running 15 miles per hour. This was not true, but the teen wished he was going that fast. He jumped out the window and landed in the next building over. His legs didn’t stop moving even when he had to jump to the next, since he always felt the giant’s fist or club coming close to his body. Eventually, he knew he was going to run out of buildings, so he had to think of what to do to avoid the giant. He had little time to look at what was in front of him, and barely noticed the last building had a support beam. That was his target. He ran as fast as he could; even faster than he was before, and was able to get to the fast Building before the giant. He used this time to get behind the pillar and wait for his pursuer to appear. For what felt like hours, he stood there, waiting for the giant to come into the view of the hole in the wall. Then, he came in, clueless as usual looking for his target. The teen repsonded to this image by yelling “Hey Gargantuan! My mother swings her club faster than you!” The giant then rammed his club into the building, and the support beam. The Building went past its breaking point and buckled on top of the giant. The hunk of stone, glass, and metal seized the giant’s upper body and slammed upon the ground. The teen didn’t want to check if he was dead or not because he wanted to get out of here as fast as possible. He slid down a girder onto the rubble and ran off the pile before the giant was either able to get out of his predicament or before someone else appeared. He ran around Buildings, heaps of metal and large stones until he he was outside the city limits, trying to make sure that no one followed him. It was at the city limits that his fatigue became evident. He could barely stand, let alone walk. He was barely able to see that black object in the distance. It was a motorcycle with a note and a bag of peanuts attached to the side. The teen picked the note of and read it.
If you are reading this, then you are indeed alive. Take this Motorcycle as far as you can go in the direction it’s currently facing and you may arrive at our base.
Best of luck

The Teen wasn’t going to question a free ride, especially when the giant could already be after him. So, he got on it, turn the ignition key and drove off.
