Boring Reviews: Movies I've Seen in the Summer So Far

1. Iron Man: The best Marvel movie ever. Do not argue. Ok, maybe Spider-Man 2 can beat it. But it's up there. Seriously. Recommended.
2. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. If you want an action movie, see it. If you're a big Indiana Jones fan and you want an action movie, you may want to see something else, or at least pretend that it's not an Indy movie. Recommendation depends on which one. It wouldn't be the first movie I recommend though.
3. Get Smart. A very funny movie that I liked a lot. Not one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, but great if you want some laughs in a summer dominated by action movies.
4. The Incredible Hulk. I didn't see Ang Lee's Hulk, but I haven't heard the best things about it. I liked it, not as much as I did Iron Man, but it was a pretty good action movie that I recommend.
5. WALL-E. Stop reading this blog entry and see this movie right now.
6. Hancock. I was expecting it to be some slapstick superhero movie, but it wasn't much like that except a scene with a head in an ass. There's a big twist midway and it becomes more of a serious action movie. I recommend it.
Next week, I'm going to have The Dark Knight and Hellboy II on my list of movies I've seen. I also have the new Batman animated movie that I'll review. And since I haven't seen the first Hellboy yet, I'm picking up the 3-disc directer's cut that I saw at the store before I see II.
