My cousin owns a PS2, I don't. I've played X1-3, and thought they were really good and would like to try the rest, so I'm considering purchasing these and going over to my cousins house (which is in walking distance) to play them are they any good?

X4 is awesome, you'll enjoy pretty much every aspect except maybe the voice overs. X5 is pretty good but I have heard that some were disappointed with it. Myself, I really like X6's gameplay although most people seem to hate it. X7 was trash, I wouldn't waste my time with it.

Play 'em all, 7's the only one I'd advise you dropping(3d? Cpcom on ****ing crack...).

X6 was good. The problem was in the translation and presentation. The music rocked. ...well some tracks did.

I loved X5. X4 was pretty good, but X6 just seemed thrown together to me.

Yea, but its still pretty fun. The only glaring problem I saw with the game's design is chancing a run into High Max before you have any subweapons.

I thought the crappy localization was worse.

I agree--forget X7. Some people might not agree, of course, but I found it pretty difficult to play the game. After beating three or four Mavericks, I got fed up, and I haven't touched the game since literally the end of last year. X6 was fun, although I didn't like how they put it together. X5 was fairly good, X4 was pretty good, yes, the voice-overs were pretty icky, though. Oh, beware, none of the endings between X5 and X6 really match up to the next game. Alternate futures...? I personally don't know. I prefer X-X3 overall, but the PSONE versions are worth playing.

I played X4, and it was great. Playing as Zero is perfect. I can't play it anymore (unless I either get it for PC, get a Playstation and X4, or Capcom makes plans for a Megaman X Aniversarry Collection)
For accurate reviews, go to GameFAQs (JK ) Actually, Mega Man Homepage gives great reviews on all of the Megaman series.

Great information is a better word. The site is only for Megaman games so I don't trust any of their "reviews."
