Mega Man Rush Marine

N4G.com : Mega Man Rush Marine announced

I have to say, it looks great. Well, mostly. I like how they're expanding on Rush's little-used abilities now, and just releasing old schoold Mega Man titles seems to be the thing now... but the art they've been using for a few of the games now is babyish and repulsive; offensive actually. I don't wanna play as Bobble Head Baby Mega Man, I want the badass precursor to Mega Man X.

So what do you guys think of it all?

Not sure what to think.

also, this is only the second game to use this style. Not a great style IMO, though. In-game seems to be NESy.

also also, I think this is mobile-phone only.

No, I mean the drawn art for the game. Like the promotional art/box art. The NES thing is fine but will become irksome if/when abused.

As for only being Mobile, I believe it is for handhelds like DS.

I also just read about Mega Man 2.5D! I didn't know it was even fan made and it looks, frankly, better than a lot of what Capcom has mustered as of late. Too lazy to link directly but its at N4G.com : All the latest game news

Funny, I read about MM2.5 yesterday, and was going to make a thread about it.

Google searches just give me phone games. I think this is just a phone game...BUT, this seems fit for DSiWare, no?

also, lost me on the style: you dislike the Powered-Up! style or the old art? I dislike both, myself, to be honest.

Well, Powered Up had that art both in-game and for promotional pictures, whereas MMRM only utilizes it for promotional purposes, such as box art while using NES graphics.

But yeah, seems a good fit for DSi Ware.
