I have the same problem, but I think it has to do with the Xbox 360 controller being horrible for fighting games.

If you're serious, and talking about SF IV, the motion is technically forward, down, down-forward, but there is some weird shortcut that allows you to simply do down-forward twice and then punch. Since I'm accustomed to playing street fighter games I stick with the former, and I've always seen it as making a Z, with the neutral position being the beginning of the Z motion.

But yeah, I'm sure part of it is the fact that the 360 controller is horrendous for games such as Street Fighter. It took me a little getting used to.

My friend that I've been living with over the summer has an account so I was just using his. Tis a shame I'll have to give it back soon, I'm so close to G1 in championship mode.

Hmmm... I've borrowed CoD 4, but I'll be giving it back soon. I'm planning to get Soul Calibur IV also, and possibly SF IV.
