The music is some of the smoothest in the series, the graphics are up to par with what you'd expect, and the gameplay is a mix of the classic Mega Man gameplay we're all used to, but with a fixed-screen that scrolls like a Shoot 'Em Up. A little extra life is injected into the game with the Achievments, so I'll be playing this game for a while. Unfortunately, the cumbersome controls on a cell phone make the experience very difficult...the scrolling doesn't leave much time to fiddle with the buttons or dodge oncoming shots from all directions... So how about anyone else? Am I the only one playing this game or what; let's talk about this game and how it stacks up to other games in the series. It reminds me of Tengu Man's stage. But from what I could tell from the video, it's somewhat actionless. It's mostly just avoiding land with a few enemies here and there. But, maybe they'll fix that. As for the Robot Masters: Are they reusing past RMs, or are they making their own? |

Anyway, it is fun, and it actually is kinda like the beginning of Tengu Man's stage from MM&B, but has more of the issue you brought up; somewhat actionless portions of gameplay. But it is a fresh idea, and it is executed well. As for the bosses, uh, I kinda haven't been good enough with the controls to get to any bosses yet but I hear they're unique. I'd think that they would have to be since the game play is altered too drastically to just port the bosses in.

And keep me updated as you progress through the game. I'd like to know about the bosses, or if more enemies appear on-screen when the game progresses. (On a semi-unrelated note, I didn't know the MM&B Tengu Man stage had a Rush Jet segment. Then again, I could never beat Ground Man. :/) Last edited by Dizzy; 06-17-2010 at 05:30 AM. Reason: Wrong Robot Master. I haven't played MM&B in a while. |

Anyway, here's some information about the bosses, but I'll be using numbers instead of bullet point because I don't know how to make them: 1) So far, they haven't reused any Robot Masters at all, nor even really seemed to keep with the original style of bosses, as they've all been based on sea creatures. 2) They're all very fun to fight, I haven't been particularly disappointed with any of them either, at least from a gameplay stand point. Although, their designs are rather reminiscent of something like a mid-stage mini-boss from an underwater Mega Man X game or something. 3) All of the powers gained from the bosses are pretty good, some are basic Mega Man fare like a shield but others utilize the submarine aspect of the game, like depth charges, and torpedoes. As for more enemies appearing on-screen? Oh yeah, lots of enemies in the final level, a whole barrage of them. Oh, and about Tengu Man's level from Mega Man & Bass; no, there is not a Rush Jet segment. What I meant was that the level scrolls, forcing you to move on and not take the game at your own pace, like in this game. Although, technically, you could use Bass and he can fuse with Treble in Tengu Man's level to kinda re-create a similar feel to Mega Man Rush Marine, but in the air. Kinda. =/ When I beat the final portion of MMRM, I'll dole out some information. I'm glad you're interested, nobody else seems to be. Even the internet is oddly empty of information about this game, which seems to suggest a lack of interest.

And this is the closest thing I've seen thus far. One more question: Do the robot masters have names? |
