Robot Master of the Week #12: Slash Man

Slash Man is a Robot Master created by Dr. Wily to clear forests for the construction of his secret bases. His design was based on Pluto from Mega Man V. In Mega Man 7, Slash Man is in charge of an army of dinosaur robots, but his mobility is so high his comrades can't keep up with him. Slash Man's Slash Claw is a smaller version of a cutter weapon used to destroy asteroids. He can also bind enemies with a red adhesive substance. He is vulnerable to drastic changes of temperature, tending to hibernate in cold winters and dehydrate in hot places.

Fun Facts
-Slash Man was originally called "Claw Man" by his designer, Yoichi Amano.
-The extra part "Blade Tire" from Mega Man: Battle & Chase resembles Slash Man's legs.
-Slash Man's movements and claws resemble those of Vega's from the Street Fighter series. This comparison is furthered in The Power Battle where he has a similar "yodel" to Vega's.

He gave me some trouble in MM7. Then I realized what he was actually weak to, and things got easier.
