Unfortunately, Sword Man's sword was way too heavy, so the upper part of the body was fitted with an anti-gravitational device, and as such, both the upper and lower halves of his body can act independent of each other to improve his balance. His main attack is Flame Sword, a attack that envelops his sword with flames for extra damage. Sword Man can also attack by spinning his upper part rapidly to cut enemies, and drops heavy statues. His stage from Mega Man 8 is an Aztec-like area located somewhere in Central Asia, possibly in Kazakhstan. Appearances Mega Man 8 Mega Man & Bass (as a data CD) Rockman Strategy Rockman 8 (manga) Theme Fun Facts -During Capcom's Robot Master design contest for Mega Man 8, Sword Man was one of three robots created using a pre-made design template supplied to fans (Clown Man and Search Man were the others). Sword Man's template was known as "Katana Robot." -His sword seems to lack cutting edges in his artwork, making his dislike of faulty swords somewhat ironic. -Sword Man is one of the first robot characters to possess a noticeable accented voice (British), alongside Colonel (who is done by the same voice actor who did Sword Man) and Iris. -One part of Sword Man's theme resembles Mega Man 3's "weapon get" theme.

Flash Bombs were OK, but the blind spot it created was usually annoying. And then there was the Homing Sniper, which sounded like a good weapon, but ended up being basically useless. ^^I'd think MM10's Blade Man would be more suitable, seeing as how he actually has knives for both arms.
