So I was beaten in Super Street Fighter IV...

...by a child who was only eight years old. =/ And I hate losing to anyone, but especially children, so I felt like I sucked really bad. I played the kid at a local tournament (which he won) that I decided to join. When I was there I learned that he was supposed to be pretty good, that he placed fairly well in decent tournaments and played some pros or semi-pros and did well. He's got some website up, and he made the local paper too. His name is Noah, but I guess he's called "The Prodigy." Anyway, it was just a little tournament for fun, with lots of crappy people and kids and whatever, but I never had a challenge at any point except for my friend who always beats me, and Noah. I almost beat the kid though, which was cool. I'm pretty proud of how good I did now, all things considered (I play it infrequently; I don't even own the game). Circumstances also seemed to be in his favor for the match, as I didn't sleep the the prior night, and had to use an inferior Xbox 360 controller.

Anyway, so what do you guys think of this kid? I'm thinking he is good, really good for a kid, but I don't think he is Daigo good.

That crippled guy from that video looks pretty good, probably better than me but he mentioned Super Smash Bros. Melee. That, THAT I can destroy him in. I'm kinda invincible.

I'm reminded of the time Da Metroid tried to tell me via AIM how he would defeat me in SSBM. He told me to tell him what move I would use, and how he would try to counter it.

I told him I would use the move where I knock him off the edge and he would die.

He didn't like that.
