A little tip for all you newbie comic makers so you won't be bashed.

I'm talking about author comics. It's REALLY annoying how n00bs put their author sprite into EVERY SINGLE FRAME. Right now, I haven't really seen anything bad, but this is pretty much up to newbies who may make a comic.

Putting yourself in a comic is usually immediatly a bad idea. However, sometimes there are exceptions (Although you can still easily get around them):
A Forum Comic (Have people post their sprites). Generally, though, you should put THEM in the frames, not you.

Part of a joke: I saw this in Jumi Jao's comic. When a joke is used where the author screwed up, then it isn't too bad. However, try to avoid it altogether.

In conclusion, try not to boost your ego in your comics. It gets really annoying for other people.

Comments? You're all going to take a test over this tomorrow! I hope you took good enough notes!

I have a sprite in my comic that has the same name as me, but he isn't the author. That ok?

The way I see it, Tigt, is that it'd probably be alright if you have yourself or your avatar character in a comic, just don't make them be known as the author. Make them known as a character, you know what I'm saying?

AS SHOWN BELOW! although it was a first attempt it was really really bad.

CODE OF DONTS- dont be in a rush to get one up...
Code of do- Take the time to get the scenery you want.. thats all i can think of. but it might be helpful if you guys added a topic of what to do and what to not do in a comic
