| WELL I AM. Join Date: May 2001 Location: Farmerland. Gender: Posts: 7,552 Thanks: 102 Thanked 347 Times in 205 Posts | I'm talking about author comics. It's REALLY annoying how n00bs put their author sprite into EVERY SINGLE FRAME. Right now, I haven't really seen anything bad, but this is pretty much up to newbies who may make a comic. Putting yourself in a comic is usually immediatly a bad idea. However, sometimes there are exceptions (Although you can still easily get around them): A Forum Comic (Have people post their sprites). Generally, though, you should put THEM in the frames, not you. Part of a joke: I saw this in Jumi Jao's comic. When a joke is used where the author screwed up, then it isn't too bad. However, try to avoid it altogether. In conclusion, try not to boost your ego in your comics. It gets really annoying for other people. Comments? You're all going to take a test over this tomorrow! I hope you took good enough notes! ![]() |

Make them known as a character, you know what I'm saying? |

Just read through The So, you want to make comix? topic, and along with Introbulus's do's, Douglas made a list of don'ts. |
