Bleh, MM7 sprites, not even original or good, uneven pixelage, and bad colors. F minus minus.
Plus, it's almost entirely a friggin' recolor.

Awesome! Once again, someone has beaten me to the punch. Hey, Tigt... what's your position on building an army of virtual Tigts to run around the internet telling people that they fail and why?

Since Tigt's covered the basics, let me get to the sword.

That sword is somehow both skinny and unwieldy looking.

Now you see, the excessively thick hilt/knuckle guard is a big downer on the agility, as is the short handle. In fact, the guy is barely even holding it, and it doesn't look like he can hold it properly. If anything, he'd have to use it as a machete, and since I guess it's supposed to be an energy sword, the size of the blade doesn't matter as much, but a machete is a powerful hacking weapon, which requires a good grip on the handle. Returning to the excessively thick hilt, it wouldn't be as bad if the hand went under it (kinda like a basket hilt sabre - there's a better name, but I forgot what it was), but as apparent, it doesn't.

Also, it looks rediculous as hell with that huge, chunky hilt and that little tiny blade.

Actually, you just asked us to tell you what we think.

Also, if you just read what Tigt said and kinda what I said, you'll see exactly what you're doing wrong.

As for the sword, first decide what type of sword you want to make it, and I'll help from there.

For one, use duller colors for the sprite, and use pretty much the same template overall, Tech Kid. No-one likes to see a patchwork recolor.

Wait... is the sword an energy sword? I mean, I assumed so because of the purple blade... If it is indeed an energy blade, it wouldn't need to be activated all the time. Another thing of note, is that the hilt is small in one pose, but in all the others, it's chunky again.

Also, that handle's more befitting to the blade's length and width, so sometime you may wanna give him a two-handed pose, once you get to that point of skill.

Fixed it, and added a few more sprites. I had an idea that the blade can turn into any shape, like an axe. Whoops forgot strap around his chest on last pose, ill fix that later.

Well get rid of the outlines of the flames, and fix the slash effects.

They're one color, and the same as the weapon. Usually, you would want some transparancy in there along with different colors, not just one huge piece of color. (I don't know if it should be lighter or darker, I haven't looked at slash effects to know how it goes)

Meh. I don't think it's just the color of the lazer sword which is the real problem, I think it's the shape. Smooth out the jagged edges and.

Your armor is poorly colored and a megaman ripoff. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we've all seen too many poorly colored Mega Man ripoffs. At least, I speak for all of us who have any taste at all. So that excludes sourpatch and Super sain50.
