The prolouge to my new comic, but don't expect a new episode until I can ensure it's good. I may or may not continue the Heros.

There isn't even a joke, and the backgrounds suck. Black voids in a castle? The same explosion used three times in one panel? Mixed Bittages?

^ Why the hell does everyone want a joke? Not all comics need humor in every strip. Have you ever read Super Adventure Quint? It's far superior to Bob and George, and SAQ has mostly a serious-type plot.

You should try to keep your comics in one topic, unless your old one has been locked. This one's not bad, compared to some comics I've seen. The bittage mixing wasn't too bad, and the repeated explosions took a minute to notice. This first one is short, but anyone could say the same about my newer comics... And XM42SUCROSE (Pixelated Penguin...?), there was a joke in the last panel.

Gah...make better holes, man. It looks like some third-grader just glued on badly-cut pieces of black construction paper. DEPTH!! DEPTH, I say!!

^^^Because this comic doesn't have any interesting characters or plotlines like SAQ. SAQ had stuff like Copy Rock. Which is awesome. If you can make something awesome like Copy Rock then you don't have to have jokes.

But this comic clearly has no such thing. And without being funny or interesting, my rule is, it's not worth reading.

Someone actually knows who I am? Yes, I am Pixilated Penguin. And I just noticed the joke, it wasn't funny.

Note: I will be posting the first comic soon, but there is bit of a plot change. Now it is dealing with the aftermath of Paper Mario:TTYD.

Eh, had some free time, so I wanted to yell at someone.

I understand you were going for that whole, "dark and dreary apocalypse war intro" thing, but it's failing pretty badly. For one, it's not long enough. Now, there is a fine line between enough and too much, but it wouldn't hurt to include three panels of exposition.
Plus, the whole first panel ruins any sadness you were aiming for, and instead makes people laugh out loud. Check that, retch. The sky is horrible. I have a feeling unless you live at the South pole or something, you haven't forgotten what a sunny sky looks like. IT's blue. With a lot of white mixed in, creating not a heavily saturated normal blue, or a "burn-your-eyes-out" light blue/teal, but something no one really bothers to look at because it doesn't grab for their attention.
Plus, would it really be so hard to fill in that spot next to the castle?
As mentiond, the holes in the castle suck. If anything, they should be more rounded, and look like there is in actuality, something behind them.
And for some rerason that castle looks very good for one that apparently was besieged, or at least the illusion of doing so.
There are major problems with the second panel as well, but the only one I think that wasn't covered was that a whole ship was disabled by the little green airplane, considering BRonto Burts can't do anything.
Last, work out the problems between the clashing viewpoints.
So ends a stupid and pointless rant. Good day.

I will be posting a new introduction. The story will involve a war between Saurasaland and the Waffle Kingdom.
