Others have done the exact same thing and you go and close my topics. Free rule? I don't know what you're getting at here, but I'm not trying to take control of the forum if that's what you were implying. It's just that I was wondering if anyone had seen the last sprites that I had posted on the other topic. PM you. Hmmm... people have mentioned PMs to me before, but I never understood what they had meant. Could you ellaborate for me? (Just so you know: I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm just curious is all.) [ November 03, 2005, 09:36 AM: Message edited by: SmithyGCN ] |

Reposting your sprite just one-two day(s) after your OLD topic isn't allowed. Either the whole thing has to disappear or you can bump your topic back up after a few days. Just take note that the Comix/Spriting forum doesn't get too much activity, so don't expect alot of comments. And PM = Private Message. |

Free Rule doesn't mean that you're trying to rule the place. I'm saying, you can't post a new sprite topic, and two topics for requesting different types of sprites. You got a sprite topic, you don't need a new one. I'd prefer you keep the request things in your old thread, or the sprite help thread. But even then, couldn't the two request threads be one? Anyways, like has been formerly said, the sprite help thread is there for this reason. And if you're 18 or above, I'm not sure if he's still looking, but I used to know a guy who was looking to pay spriters for, well, spriting. |

Request threads as one? ... I guess. Anyway, I didn't realize you had a rules topic until after I posted this thread (I read through it immediately). Again I apologize. I had also posted those 3 topics at the same time - I don't know if you knew this - so I didn't really think I was irritating anyone at first. But, two last things: how do I PM someone? People actually PAY others to make sprites? (That's ridiculous! I do mine freely because I enjoy it!) |

You already had a sprite topic, you didn't need another one, yada yada... I may have been a little rash when I said you were getting on my nerves, and for that I apologize. You are still new, so I should probably cut you a little slack. But keep up the good work in your topic. ~Dylan |

Anyway, sorry about the misunderstanding. Especially, since the guy works for a game company. But it's not like I can get a job for any video game company since I HAVE downloaded ROMs in the past. They'd sooner give me jail time rather than a paycheck. It's been a couple years since I had first joined this message board (people who are still here from the old days may remember me as Smithy64) and I still have a lot to learn about forums. Also, thanks for the support, guys. I appreciate it. [ November 03, 2005, 10:22 PM: Message edited by: SmithyGCN ] |

Thanks though. However, I still need to know how to activate Pms on myself before I can do that. [ November 03, 2005, 10:27 PM: Message edited by: SmithyGCN ] |

Just thinking if Eiji Aunuma downloaded ROMs in his past is actually kind of funny! (Not that it's true or anything). A little off topic here: As far as people asking me as to why I have PMs deactivated, I have no idea. When I first got back to this forum, my PMs were apparently already deactivated and I didn't know about it. I don't know how to activate them so I can recieve PMs AND send them. Could someone clear this up for me because it seems like no matter what I do, I can't reactivate them. ![]() |
