My Comic Series - VGF

or more accuratly a revamped part of my first few comics (you might remember)

*note* small painting error- forgot to highlight Dr.Dude's eyes..DOH.. (P.S. you dont need to say that its noobish & overused to put the author in the comic, i already know)

Bad things:
-Dr. Dude is just a lame Dr. Donez ripoff
-Black holes are supposed to be a lot bigger
-Some words weren't capitalized when they should have been
-It doesn't make much sense that the Black Mage would be thanking Dr. Dude
-The comic mixes bittages a lot
-There aren't any borders for the frames
-The Tony the Tiger joke was really stupid
-The text bubbles are very sloppy
-The black hole effect didn't turn out good at all
-The blood effect was created using the spraypaint tool, and therefore doesn't look good at all
-Some stuff was mispelled
-When you realized you made the mistake with Dr. Dude's eyes, you should have fixed it
-You should have put the word "ding" closer to the actual door
-You kept changing the color of the text for the different characters, in one panel, Dr. Dude used green, and in another, he used black

Good things:
-The black hole joke wasn't THAT bad
-It wasn't BMP or JPG format

So, it's not a very good idea to use heads of cereal mascots in comics. Maybe you thought it would turn out kind of like Jay's stick figure people, but it didn't. And you should check over your comics for spelling and grammar errors before you post them here. Sorry if that was a bit harsh, but I'm just trying to be honest.

Well, I don't really mind mixed bitage and all that. However, I can really agree with Jumi Jao on a lot of those issues. I'm not trying to be mean or anything. In fact, I encourage you to continue with this new knowledge in mind. I hope that you can avoid these things in the future.

thanks for the feedback, and the close-up is supposed to be a one-time thing, as the black text all represented them thinking the same thing. (the error for the eyes was noticed after i posted it, and i musta clicked on black after green was highlighted, ill be more careful next time) and please -doo noght insult my unwrish, ihve nehvre faihled ahnee

I understood that part of the text coloring thing, but that's not what I meant. Dr. Dude's text is black in the fourth panel, and your author character's text changes from a dark blue to a lighter blue when he yells, but that part was probably intentional.

Seriously, both of you are far too negative! If he keeps at it, he might improve! Chunky, if you are as Christian as you've lead me to believe then you would at least try to offer some suggestions (other than telling him to stop). I swear, if a loved one gave you a Christmas present, you'd suspect that there'd be a bomb inside.

Oh children...

As far as your comic goes REDJ, it would be a lot better if you changed, well, everything. The joke was sub-par. The whole thing with Tony the Tiger was just sad, and the blood effect was so slothfully done it bears repeating. And ditch Dr. Dude. It's been said before, he is a major Donez ripoff.

You have a lot to work on, but I look forward to seeing improvements.

Look, pal. What gives you the right to say the things that YOU do? Anyway, I've changed a lot since then. After all, I'm not the overly defensive ninny that I was back then. God would not have accepted that kind of behavior from me and He sure is not going to accept it from you either. I understand that I was wrong for what I did. I won't try to make the same mistake again. Don't use my past transgressions as a means for you to do evil unto others either. I am only giving you some constructive criticism here. You don't need to be like that. (Sorry if I sounded a little too preachy...)

Hm. Well, here's something for you to chew on at least. LvK's rules state that we are NOT allowed to make fellow posters feel UNWELCOME and that's exactly what you and Glyph have been doing. I'd quit while I was ahead if I were you or else I'd get banned. I mean, JUST because you SAY your Christian does not mean that you have the right to treat people poorly. It does not justify it and I'm beginning to believe that an attitude such as yours is leading people to believe in common negative stereotypes about us Christians.
