Well, nobody's posted any good comics in quite a while, and Leo and Doma is on hold until I get better at spriting. As for Glyph, he's left, for the most part. He hasn't posted in the comix forum for well over a month, and he hasn't posted in any of the other sections that much, either.

I did leave. I checked back a few times, but for the most part I wasn't here at all.

Then Acmlm's Board exploded, so VGF I loaded, just to see if there was anything interesting going on. I clicked some recent topics, and my interest was waning, and then I saw all this complaining, complaining that I was gone. "It's just one guy," I pondered, "complaining that I was gone, I have more important things going on."

Ah, distinctly I remember, a month before this bleak November, and each individual member said nothing, as there was nothing going on. I had a more important task, so for a month I made a post, my last, because one guy did ask, ask why I wasn't already gone. For VGF more recently, seemed like one big yawn. Leaving did not seem wrong.

But my true nature resurfaced, for doing important tasks, I'm worthless, worthless and lazy like that orange cat with an owner named Jon. I neglected my regular work, and came here to lurk, repeating "I had very solid reasons, solid reasons not to be on, I'll take a short break here, and then again be gone, I have more important things going on."

But then I changed what I did think, when I clicked on a topic by Alink, "Sheesh", thought I, "You guys are still going on? The fact is, my interest was waining, and then you kept complaining, complaining about how I was now gone, I didn't expect anyone to notice," and I came back from where I had gone--even though I had more important things going on.

Long before this morning, a time when we were scorning, scorning each other for reasons that were probably very wrong. "Surely," said I, "surely, this is not the same group now asking for my return. Let me see, then, who calls me from my more important things going on, my very real and not made up important things going on. Sure enough they were the same disgruntled throng.

You, even though here my interest is waning, will still be here, still be here complaining, complaining no matter here or where it is I have really gone, but no matter my location, social status, or vocation I too will be complaining even after this place is forgone, so perhaps I was meant to be here and shouldn't have withdrawn, besides, truly I had no important things going on.

Say, I have this game idea. And it's awesome. The Game Ideas forum is no more.

It's not a comic, and there aren't even sprites for it yet except for where I started Paper X... But I've been thinking about it for a while and I've already started writing a base for it in C++ with the SDL and SDL_image libraries.

Anyone interested?
