Dis ain't much, but it was a practice at Spriting and for a Geometry assignment believe it or not. Comments on spriting, the still animation, etc, and any questions or answers on the math problem? ![]() |

Usually I'd tell you to shorten the text down a little bit (It's a little bulky.), but then again, it is a geometry assignment and you probably need a clever way to give the dimensions of the triangle, so I'll let that slide. Besides that, it looks like Kamek and the blue Yoshi have the same color of font; you might wanna fix that. Some of the speech (Mario's speech and the text in the upper left.). Speech bubbles would be great in a busy background like that. It also eliminates the need for colored text. Other than that, not bad at all. ~Dylan |

Yes, I admit that I used the same color for Dark Blue and Kamek. The reason is because Dark Blue text I just had issues with when I tried to read it myself. And yes...Why didn't I think of speech bubbles or boxes. It would be soooo much easier to decifer the 1337 in Baby Mario's quotes and much more. Yeah, and thanks to anyone else bothering to take note of this piece of crud. Now that I posted this...that reminds me. I have one more math comic...and another forum didn't like it very much...this one is Legend of Zelda based...but you probably could infer from looking at the picture. Right? ![]() |

There's nothing wrong with just plain text. 2) Uneven panels; it just looks like shoddy worksmanship. 3) It was hard to find the text bubbles themselves; try making them black. 4) Detailed ground would be nice. Same for that pillar. Again, very novel idea. I like how you're able to relate video games to something as boring as math (No offense.). Not as good as the Yoshi's Island one, but still not bad. Just work on those few problems. ~Dylan |

Gender: Posts: 46 Thanks: 1 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | My Geometry Honors class absolutely loved the way I taught these math formulas. My teacher was especially pleased with the way I did these comics. Yes, you heard me right. My math teacher is awesome. She is a bit...crazy, but it certainly keeps the class entertained as she goes on her crazy way of teaching formulas and theorems. Okay, now that I got all of this feedback Dylan, I have comics under construction that need fixing. Good thing I had these comics posted here. I really learned a lot myself. |

Gender: Posts: 46 Thanks: 1 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Well...I don't think I have any real effective ideas for Shy Guys that could be put in a comic and be original all at once. I do have this. Beware...it is really insanely crazy and may be hard to read. And shame on me using a self-insertion of a fan character. Yeah...but it is pretty much all about Shy Guys. http://www.lemmykoopa.com/lk29/lk29-1543.html |
