My Comics - VGF

Hey, I wanted to post my comics here. If you want then post here too. First off, I'm gonna post what I would of posted in April. My friends said is was fine, some disliked it. I'm a lot better at it now. Criticize me as much as you want, this was two months ago.

1) Inverted colors for an evil twin or likewise is a huge cliche.

2) I would actually make some ground there instead of having Mario and Luigi standing on the bottom line of the frame. It actually looks like Bowser is levitating.

3) I can't say I'm too thrilled with the fight effects, like some of the fire effects (flames, fireballs, etc.) or Luigi's tornado punch. I'm really not too thrilled about the ashes-and-hat joke or the ashes-and-eyes joke at the end either.

4) Speech bubbles would be nice to identify who's speaking first. Plus, some of Mario's text was a little hard to read.

Needs a little work, but other than that, I like those sprites. Keep workin' on it.

/\ I got lazy with the fireballs, which I have but didn't use. Anyway, I noticed almost all who liked it liked the last two jokes. "The Mario and Fastfood" joke, and the "Rappers" I believed were funny.

Not too bad. While this may not be a big deal in the last one you posted, but the Minus World comic could've been a little better with some text bubbles. Also, it's hard to tell who's speaking first in that last panel. Try reorganizing the text a little bit.

One more hint: try not to leave a panel blank like that. Instead, try to think of a further continuation of the story (A good continuation.).

Listen up. I edited the SMW Luigi and SMB Luigi sprites, but the Mario sprites of both comics belong to Toni and NO Body of MFGG.net, so I must credit them. Also, in the first comic, I used Toni's sprites as well. I must credit him for that too. The background of "Imposters?" is made by Black Squirrel of MFGG. Credit is given to him.

I put a lot of effort into this, though it looks like nothing much I spent a long time editing and stuff like that. But I'm still open for bad comments as well as good ones.

I know this sounds like a copout, but a while back I wiped out my computer thinking I could get my comics back from Ripway anytime I wanted. Well, that was a great plan until Ripway revoked my account for lack of use. All I have left is this:

Not very good, but whatever. I might start making some more actual comics, though, if I get time.

The "ash" effects you used for Mario, Link, and Bowser were REALLY poorly done. The pile of ash was bigger then the person it used to be.

The rap joke was ridiculously stupid. The Fastfood joke is not original. I've seen it done millions of times on TV, and even in video games. The same can be said about the Hair joke.

I really liked the sprites used in the "Minus World" comic. You should've sticked with those. SMW sprites are over-used in comics and flash movies.
