| Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Teenage Wasteland Gender: Posts: 6,087 Thanks: 849 Thanked 871 Times in 399 Posts | This being October and everything, I thought it would be great to bring out a good ol' fashioned contest to see which one of youse guys can make the digital best of this pseudoholiday! Make sure all your submissions are Halloween-themed. Rules: 1) All forum rules apply. That means no explicit content or overall suckage. 2) There are two categories: comics and sprites. You may enter in both categories, but only one of them may win. 3) All comics/sprites to be entered will be posted in this thread. 4) Sprite sheets are welcome. 5) Everyone only gets one entry in each categories. 6) Image formats may play a factor into the overall judging of an entry depending on the quality of the image itself. 7) Original work only. Theft will result in disqualification. Winners in each category will be allowed to select a personal avatar of their liking. DEADLINE: November 1, 2006 -Dylan |

For clarity, Halloween themes include, ghosts, monsters, zombies, vampires, etc. They also include movie monsters such as Freddy Kruger, Jason Voorhees, etc. Spooky backgrounds and settings are also acceptable. Candy is fine as long as you have a trick-or-treater to go with it (That is, keep the candy in the bag. I don't really care how well you can sprite a gumball.). -Dylan |

| JESUS SAID | I was going to misspell everything, but that's even more horrible. __________________ ![]() |

I've seen that, even though my first comic was abysmal to the degree that it would be illegal, (due to the Geneva convention) it only had 1-2 grammar/spelling errors per page. Seems more realistic spelled this way. Horror is difficult to evoke from the audience without suspension of disbelief. |

Not exactly made for halloween, but halloween-themed enough. ![]() He's a scarecrow, by the way. |

[Whoops, forgot to lock. -Dylan] Last edited by Dylan; 11-02-2006 at 10:40 PM. |
