That said, sprite comics are by far and large a minority in the comic world, so you could argue that the forum will inevetably be more focused on regular comics, and less on spriting, just for the sheer factor of popularity. But again, there was never any intention on removing the spriting and sprite comics from the forum, only to encompass all forms of comic art. And really, if you're taking it so seriously to suggest you feel you will "be treated as second-class citizens", you should really step back and get a clear head before posting. *sigh* Mushman, more than anything, it's an expectation, and the encouragement of what's appropriate. I could honestly see certain members advising someone to take their hand drawn comics elsewhere, with the forum as it is at this moment. So it's just a change of focus, and making the effort to actively include all comics, instead of sticking with a spriting exclusive feeling. |

Likewise, your misinterpretation of the previous post I made only shows how easy it is to misunderstand on the internet--therefore it should make sense why we saw the worst in Dylan's post--a post that was intended to be far more neutral and simple. Rather, I don't see that we have a quarrel at all, now that you have clarified Dylan's post. So then, let the plan go ahead, by all means. |

| GET IT THE MUSICIAN'S NAME IS PANDA BEAR | I support the idea, but think it'd work better as like a subforum of art, literature, etc. |

While there are few if any non-sprite comics here, a more generalized comics forum would encourage them. And why couldn't it also be used to discuss outside webcomics? I'd rather post pixel art in A&L, though, especially since I'd never use it to make a sprite comic. Also: Panfan's idea is good. |
