Will Call of Duty run on my desktop?

Hey, I recently watched one of my friends play Call of Duty 4 on his computer and the game looks amazing. So amazing that I want to buy it(coming from someone who nearly lost interest in single player games). Well anyhow, I recently found out some flaws about my desktop computer, the Dell E310. After some research I'm beginning to question whether my graphics card may actually have potential to run the game afterall. Here's what I have:

Intel Pentum 521 (2.8GHz) Processor
512MB PC2-4200 DDR2 Memory(Upgraded to 2 gig now)
80GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
16x DVD+/-RW Dual Layer Burner
AC'97 Audio
Intel GMA 900 Graphics with 128MB Shared Memory
17" E773 Dell CRT Monitor
v.90 56Kbps Modem and 10/100 Ethernet
Six USB 2.0 Ports
Windows XP Media Center 2005 and Word Perfect 12 Word Processor

The problem with my video card is it's integrated into the processor, so I don't believe there is much I can do about that, seeing as I lack that Rx16 slot or whatever for the advanced cards. So do you think my current graphics card is able to run the game? Thanks.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: God no. Integrated graphics cards in general are absolute trash. You'd do as well trying to run Bioshock or Crysis. You'd be lucky if your computer didn't kill itself out of shame.

^ What he said.

My advice.

Buy a new computer. Whether you want to play CoD4 or not, buy a new computer.

totally not

sorry but there is a way to run it. u guys have no creative tallent not to be offensive but if u can take some time out of ur day you can get a techie friend to come help u with this dilemma, and then what i suggest is to build a slot for the graphics card into your dell to let you do that. you can get it by buying it off the internet and building it into your dell. but if there is a problem consult your dell supplier.

Lol, yeah whenever I can afford a new computer this problem is solved. Like one of my friends said once, by the time I'll have a good computer they'll have ulcers and cancer, lol.
