I'm thinking of joining it but I have some questions. Is the free membership actually free? Do you have to download it and if so does anyone know how much space it takes up?

^ I don't really know much about it, but it's kind of like a virtual reality community where you use your character (or avatar) to interact with others online. Look it up on Google to get a better idea of what it is.

I'm not sure about whether it's free or not to download and such. I know if you want to buy clothes or a drink and such in the game, you'll need to acquire linden dollars(by doing tasks, selling things, or converting your money into linden dollars). I believe a single U.S. dollar is worth 100 linden dollars, so with that you should be able to do a decent amount of things at least.
