Google Chrome

Alright, I am using Google Chrome right now after hearing about it for the first time today.

Frankly, I'm not too impressed.

It definitely seems based on the current I.E. design, expect with fewer buttons.

Overall, while using as much space as possible for a website may be the preference for some people, I'm going to stick with Firefox.

I like the fact that I can just type one or two letters and then enter, but it has some problems. Specifically, I can't click on text boxes and pull up a drop-down menu of previous entries, and it had some issues scrolling through PDF files. I'm sticking with FF too.

Gonna be a hard market for them to get into. I don't even really see the benefit in it, since browsers are generally freeware.

I've read speculation that Google's doing it to help control the direction of web standards, and stop MS taking it in a way that is harmful to Google's interests. It's a strategic move.
Plus they get to set searches to route through Google search.

Chrome is an excellent example of why you should read EULAs before installing things.

I think the primary feature that Chrome is supposed to have is better process control and Javascript performance. They even released a comic (by Scott McCloud, no less) explaining it in somewhat tedious detail.

I believe Firefox 3 has a similar feature (I'm assuming your talking about typing into the location bar)

^ It does, I quite like my Firefox 3 and I don't really intend to switch to Chrome.
