We are amused, minus the fact that I bought it before finding out about the DRM nightmare. Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: Spore __________________ Remember that book store? Well, they became one of those books and coffee places, and now they're just coffee. It's like evolution, only without getting the better part. |

They're going to give you FIVE whole installs. Stupid as it sounds, the DRM scheme caused me to not buy it. I've become a real huge fan of Steam and Impulse (Stardock), especially dealing with multiple computers. |

However, it couldn't keep me from renting the DS version which is one of the most boring games I've ever played. |

Also, Civilization and Sim City will always be first in my mind. Sim City for growing things, Civilization for destroying them (with cool cultural background). And Gal Civ for 'create-a-destructive death thing' gameplay. Of course. I don't do much PC gaming; the fact it has DRM kind of killed the 10% impulse to try it anyway. |
