Arrow Movie editing software?

I'm looking for a video editing suite. I want to mix some MP3 audio into a video (like for my screencasts), and I'm sort of hitting the limits of what Windows Movie Maker can do for me.

Any suggestions? Preferably something open-source/freeware.

Open-source/freeware sucks as far as video editing goes. Keep in mind that I've been spoiled with Vegas Pro and Final Cut Pro.

Yeah, get yourself a copy of Vegas, it's tight. Sorry I can't really recommend anything else.

If you have better use for sound software, I'm pretty sure the newer versions of Acid (by the same people, now owned by Sony) are capable of minor video editing, as well.

Cinelarra, perhaps?

Kino (software - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

-----------
Also, the Blender blender.org - Home suite has a node-based compositor and video editor for free.

I was looking at those, but they don't have Windows distributions. I know, Windows sucks, etc., but it also plays games =/

Anyways, thanks for the suggestions guys.
