It's obvious TF2 is ripping off Pong more with hit detection, AI, etc.

Random drops in a competitive MMOFPS? Even I can't see how the hell it'd work. What are they gonna drop random achievements like sandviches or weapons?

Hm... interesting. My first reaction is, I don't like it, but I'll reserve judgment until I've seen it. Also, what's your source? I don't see anything about this on the TF2 site, although I didn't look very hard.

They're saying this is just one big joke, as part of one of the patches included a "quest" system.

Cause Valve loves screwing with people.

^^No, that was after the Steam forums had a bunch of "World of TF2" threads in response to the random drop code, the next update included some more code as a joke this time.
