New MechWarrior game announced

New MechWarrior game announced > Video Game News, Inc. > Video Game News

I don't know how many of you have played any of the MechWarrior games before, but it you have, you're probably as excited as me to hear about the announcement of a new game in the series being produced. The game is supposed to serve as a reboot to the series, and will be released for both the PC and the XBox 360. The link features the first trailer for the game.

I was a bigger fan of the Earthsiege series.

Really? Out of curiosity, how? IMO the Mechwarrior series was not only the transformers to Earthsiege's GoBots, but also pretty much did everything ES did but better (with better designs/stories).

I mean, Earthsiege and ES2 were pretty good, but I'm just wondering how you'd put it over MechWarrior.

Just found it easier to get used to the interface faster, more or less. I was really into Starsiege when it came out, with all the different game modes and at the time, the seamless inside to outside environments was pretty new to any kind of game. Never really had many in-depth experiences with Mechwarrior, so that might be part of it.
