I heard about that. Sounds pretty freaky.

But I guess for now, we'll just have to wait and see. It's not like I play WoW, though.

Cataclysm's been on rumor for quite a while. The 85 level cap seems meh, but the extra player-class combination seems like an interesting idea. No love for the Gypsie-Goats, though

Hmm, I'm sure Masa will look forward to the Goblin race working with the Horde.

Well at least there's blood elves. The fact that there WEREN'T Undead Hunters and Night Elf Mages during Classic World of warcraft would have done nothing but make it Night Elves vs Undead. (Druids are disqualified as they had no choice.)

But trolls might. God there's gonna be so many plotholes the draenei won't look like one big plothole.

I'm not believing most of it until BlizzCon. The "Thrall decides to give the Horde to Garrosh" comes to mind as being just stupid, especially considering what a bitch Garrosh has been lately.

dwarf shaman sounds cool, though. BEER CANS CAN BE USED AS TOTEMS. NOW FEEL THE VERY FLAMES OF IRONFORGE AND THE COLD OF DUN MOROGH IT'S SELF.
(no seriously though, there were some earthen being all shamany, wouldn't be surprised if they taught a bit)

I'm believing the worgen/goblin things because of the highly detailed masks datamined recently.

Sure they may not be for halloween?

oh god dwarf shamans. LESSEE...WE HAVE LEARNED TO USE THE LIGHT AS A PALADIN OR A PRIEST AND NOW WE CAN LEARN TO USE THE SPIRITS OF THE EARTH! Well we never were monotheistic in the first place!!!!1111121111 Hey what's that huge flushing sound? Is it coming from Gnomeregan*?

Human: nope. It's just the lore being flushed painfully down a plothole.

*I don't mind if Gnomeregan was reconstructed. Nobody likes that dungeon, even the developers admit that they screwed up with it.

I don't like the idea of Cairne getting declared a traitor and killed off. Hope it's just rumor.

^ Yeah the horde story sounds pretty lame. What made the horde awesome was the fact that the orcs actually had morals, unlike so many other depictions of orcs in other series just being mindless murderers.

Lol, Azshara a level 10-20 zone? It's the most retarded zone in the game simply because of the incredibly lame terrain design. I'd rather run into the 17-19 hecklefang hyenas, die, and spawn at the crossroads, thanks. Not that the barrens is any more interesting though.

Also, why wouldn't the Pandaeron(sp?) race be available to the Horde? That would be effing sweet.

I do think that if they released an expansion called Cataclysm, it would involve Azshara, but I'm more willing to believe that it would dive into the history of the Great Sundering and the Maelstrom, rather than completely revamping classic WoW areas. But that's just me. I'm going on a personal hunch more than what other people dug up. Just like I'm willing to bet patch 3.3 will be Grim Batol.

Completely restructuring old areas seems too out there to be true in my opinion, not to mention destroying Orgrimmar would piss off a lot of people.

^Seriously. I mean, if they were to flood Thousand Needles, it'd screw up most of the questlines that take place there. Good luck doing anything in the Shimmering Flats.

the shimming flats will now have boat racing

As for Dwarf Shamans, I'm wondering if the Earthern would have something to do with that, as crazy as that sounds.

also, ditto on Cairne, that's just random.

Not to mention cutting the Barrens in half would ruin this little piece of merchandise:

Pandaren would be the worst race to play as due to the mass exodus from the horde players that still need something to do until Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2. And not to mention KOS orders from the rerolled alliance. They'd be camped into oblivion.

"The New (New) Horde
Thrall will hand over the leadership of the Horde to Garrosh Hellscream, while he serves as a coordinator for both the Horde and Alliance forces in and effort to combat the new threat of the Naga and Black Dragonflight. Without Thrall to keep Garrosh in check, he declares open war on the Alliance. In the political upheaval Cairne Bloodhoof is implicated as a traitor to the Horde and murdered by Garrosh. Cairne's son Baine takes over as the new Tauren chieftan. This could explain why Baine was removed from the game in Patch 3.2.2, you can find more information about this in Ahmo Thunderhorn - replacement for Baine Bloodhoof?"

**** that

**** Blood Elves. Freaking entire race is populated by 13 year old "rebels" and girls that just learned about MMORPGs men pretending to be girls.

And yes, **** Thrall handing his position down. He was one of the best characters in Warcraft, period. Lothar couldn't hold a sword to him. *bud dum PSH*

Speaking of patches, any reason why Tailors still can't make Flying Carpets at a lower level? Like before 65?

^Except for the fact that if you're rolling one for Paladin purposes you don't have a choice. IMO I find the "You play a Draenei/night Elf/blood Elf/Tauren you're an idiot" mentality kind of stupid when they include Shamans, Druids, Paladins, and Druids respectively. (Yes I mentioned druids twice)

Also Tailors can't because you have to be level 70 to train in flying.

^Not anymore. They really made riding training easier in this patch, in more ways than one...

The thing with Thousand Needles and in fact most of the old world will probably be dealt with via the phasing technology we see used so prominently in Icecrown.

And I've an interesting theory regarding Garrosh being appointed as Warchief. I don't think that Thrall would do it unless he knew that it was the best chance he would have to get rid of Garrosh completely, either by being assassinated from the outside (by the Alliance) or from within. It seems a bit un-Thrallish but I don't see Garrosh lasting long as Warchief either way.

From what I heard, the technology isn't good enough to change whole environments, though. (ie: mountains or something)

Med'an in the comic is being set up as the next Guardian of Trisfal, so I doubt Thrall will be touching that position. Either way, I don't believe Thrall thinks Garrosh is ready for the position of Warchief after recent events.

Slow Mount: 20
Fast Mount: 40
Slow Flying: 60
Fast Flying: Still 70?
Cold Weather: High-levels can buy a BoA book and send it to an alt, apparently
