You can't get rid of it; that's where the album art is displayed, if there is any.

Is this a serious topic?? It's for the album art if there is any. Maybe you'd have known that if you downloaded your MP3s from a trusted site like Itunes or maybe bought the CD in stores .

I do not download anything illegally. And if you must know, I'm listening to MIDIs, which is why there isn't any album art.

you could switch to the skin mode and get one of the custom skins.

Or you could just switch over to VLC or Winamp.

Outside of skin mode, its the only way you're getting album art display to go away.
