I haven't played in ages, though. Also, I find your lack of enthusiasm disturbing. If you don't want to play the game, why do you want to... play the game? |

I used to not do it to so no big deal but it can't hurt can it? Um... the Paladin Classes are fun to play as they give you a mix of powers. And also your class depends. Are you wanting to play pvp or pve? Paladin works for both but it would be wise to check if any of your friends play and start a party character so you can work together to level up faster. If you can't tell I'm partial to Paladins. Best of luck with your new W.O.W. career. |

Paladins and Druids are the most powerful classes IMO, but Enhancement Shamen at or beyond level 70 are so powerful its retarded. |

![]() On the subject at hand, I wish I could help. I tend to scorn MMO games as money wasters, since there's no flat fee and you never win the game. I like to have a point where I stop spending money on things like that. | |

My first WoW char was an arms-spec warrior, and I found that a lot easier than some of the alts I've tried out since (though that may just be the paradigm shift of going from a burly thick-skulled maniac to a brittle magic-using hippie). Druid, paladin, and hunter are all good choices, too, but they're a bit more complex---not as user-friendly for a brand-new player. Heck, you might as well just try out a few classes right away, see what you like best---considering you can have fifty characters on your account, there isn't really a reason not to. Oh, and I really can't see buying gold or getting someone else to power-level for me---feels too much like paying for someone else to go to the movies just so you can have his ticket stub afterwards. (Ooh, now there's an analogy!) As well just play the game, let money and levels follow naturally, as they will. |
