Thumbs up Psychonauts is onsale on Steam for 2 USD

I hate to sound like an ad banner, but we're talking critically acclaimed, cult-status brilliance, here. It might be a generation old, but it's the type of experience I won't pass up. Sure as hell beats paying 10-20 bucks for a beat up used PS2 disc or something.

I heard a lot of good about this game, but it really doesn't seem to be my kind of game. But man, that is really a great price.

I tried to get the demo months ago, but it isn't compatible with 64-bit systems. Can't get this one, unfortunately.

Bought it. Unfortunately (well... in a sense) I'm playing through Dragon Age again so I probably won't check it out for a while. But yeah, the deal was too good to pass up. Just like Steam's damn holiday sales... curse them.

My laptop is a Vista 64-bit and I had no trouble running the game.

I've always wanted to try it, this sale gave me a good excuse!

Might've just been the demo. It shouldn't be too hard for them to make a build of the game to run in 64-bit with no flares.

Alright, well I just beat this. Verdict: average, occasionally terrible gameplay (the end... *vomit*) but wonderful writing, characters, setting, and voice acting. Also very funny. Feels like they should have just made a cartoon or an animated movie or something instead of a game though-- the medium added nothing to it.
