Thanks 2K!

2K is dropping PC support and will not make the DLC available for Bioshock 2 on PC.

I'd hate to be the one delivering that news.

Also, that is lame. How much harder is it to make something on consoles available on Computers? I have to wonder about that now...

Different development environment, requires extra hours/staff. It's basically a cost-saving measure.

still doesn't make up for the fact that they basically lied

(also some of the complaints about $10 wasted for that multiplayer map pack are warranted too!)

Yes. It's still a sucky/sleazy move.

its not harder to make something on the computer (in fact if you are starting from scratch its probably a bit easier) but its hard to port the entire thing from on to the other. ever try to play a really old DOS - era game on windows 7? same thing, even though its still a computer it doesn't just work out of the box

also yeah this is dumb.

Is 2K really bleeding money that bad? Come on. (To be fair, I guess they might be. Just seems unlikely.)

I didn't buy Bioshock 2, but it's always disappointing to see a developer/publisher neglecting PC owners. Hopefully this doesn't mean they're going to be cancelling PC DLC for other games, or even not releasing them on PC at all.

Ugh, I hate this kind of behavior. PC is king of 3D gaming.
