Most of the people around me at work bring in their own Macbook and have the latest iPhone 3G/S whatever. I brought in a Toshiba P4 1.2GHz laptop, 128 MB of RAM, from 2002 =/ |

It's more or less a computer gaming forum but there's nowhere else on VGF one would especially put Mac questions. So this is fine. |

It's kind of too bad it completely contradicts the older anti-Intel/Microsoft/CISC sentiments, because I'm not a fan of supporting hypocrisy. I do like their concept of software simplicity, although the structure is still too rigid for my taste. | |

That's a commodity market now, and the online experience has much greater market cap with fewer competitors. So now when you think of Apple, you think of the iPhone (with its data services, online apps, etc.), iTunes, the App Store, and black mock turtleneck sweaters. |

A Mac is a PC in the sense of the x86 processor but I think when people say PC these days it refers to x86/Windows. Like if I go into a store and buy a game and it says PC it means a computer running Windows and Macs are computers by Apple that run Mac OS. Other then that, there isn't much of a difference. I could put Windows on my Macintosh so its PC-Compatible to say the least. I have never done this though my dad is a geek (he loves all computers) and has Windows on his Macintosh and like at least three different Linux distros. Dual Boot ftw? Anyway sorry about bumping this thread but yes I have Steam. Sadly the only game i have is Day of Defeat Source. I missed out on the free portal thing. I really want L4D2, C-S:S and Torchlight. Buuut I am saving up my allowance for the Mac Box Set. Hopefully iWork '11 will be out by the time Lion comes out so I can upgrade iLife '09 to iLife '11 and iWork '09 to iWork '11 along with upgrading Mac OS X Snow Leopard to Mac OS X Lion =D Did I mention I am also an awesome geek for my age? Blame my dad though. He tried extra hard to make me a nerd and I "think" it worked. Yes, I love all computers and Operating Systems. Calling Mac users stupid/gay and Windows users stupid/gay and Linux users nerds is for btards. Tru fax =D My dad always says. Its a computer. Use what you like. Thats why there is something called choice xD |
