The mouse itself moves perfectly fine, but the cursor on the screen sometimes "sticks". I've cleaned it out multiple times, and it's still acting "sticky". |

After it's done sticking, does it just jump to the other location? If so, it's likely the computer just being fidgety. If it doesn't, however, it might be the mouse. The most likely scenario being that the ball is slightly loose, therefore missing the sensors occasionally. If it's a laser mouse and it's doing that, though, then I'm not sure what it could be. |

Do you get the same sorta attitude when you use another mouse? Depending on the quality of your mouse, yeah, it could just break somehow. If you don't have an optical mouse, you should get one to replace your balled mouse, because those are totes obsolete. |

It doesn't happen all the time. It usually only happens when I want to move the mouse slightly, like when I'm spriting. I really want a laser mouse, I just haven't put too much effort into getting one. |

They sure as hell break down very fast, though. Sounds like the internal spin sensor's junk, buy a new one. |

It could very well turn out that you may suffer from the same problem again when the debris collects on the tracks inside your mouse with the ball system. They really aren't that expensive -- usually $40 or less. |
