In all seriousness, we're not actively looking for engine licensees -- we much prefer focusing on making great games -- but it's something that we have done in the past and probably will continue to do, especially now that our technology is really well-suited to certain types of projects.

1UP: Have you ever considered bringing Trine to a handheld platform? Like, say, PSP2?

LH: We have, we have...Trine would be a near-perfect fit on a handheld device. That said, the thing with Trine and Trine 2 is that they require a lot of processing power, so it's not a simple task to just "port them" to other platforms. That's why we're not so interested in releasing Trine on Wii or the original PSP. We're also very wary of letting anyone else touch our games, so we generally don't license our IPs to any other companies either.

And frankly, I guess the biggest reason could be that we tend to be a lot more interested in creating something new than rehashing something old. We try to be business-savvy but at the end of the day, it's the gamer inside that wins.
Never played the game, but I know you guys did.

Yeah, the original was great. Looking forward to this. And online co-op is a no-brainer, shoulda had that already.

I love Trine, but usually in small bites. I can get pretty sucked into it, if I'm not careful.
