This is really bringing me back to the time you had to configure your sound card IRQs manually. I remember setting up Warcraft II and repeatedly pressing the "Your sound card works perfectly" button until it got annoyed at me.

I especially like the top commenter on the page, who gets excited thinking that it's ironic they're using language like "1200bps" when the guide is supposed to help a person determine whether or not they need a modem faster than 1200bps. If you thought you needed a modem in 1986, that means you knew what a modem was. If you knew what a modem was, you're not going to be confused about baud being a modem's transfer rate.

Fail for people not understanding that computers have not always been for, nor are they now soley for, consumers to look at pictures of cats.
