For those who don't know, The Silver Lining (video game) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia here's a link to its page on WikiP. There's also a link to Phoenix Online and the website. Anyways I would have mentioned this when the first episode was available but unfortunately, episode one is really really small and is more or less a playable prologue. Episode 2 has been out since September and has some better puzzles, too - Might as well mention it since Episode 3 is scheduled for release tonight. Also, expect to have some fun with the narrator. I looove when you make Graham sit down and she chews you out for doing that. |

Surprising for Activision, but apparently all that Vivendi/Activision demanded was that they don't use "King's Quest" in the title, so that was changed. |

What they did is worked out a deal to allow a non-commercial license to use the characters, etc, because their primary concern is they actually forfeit the ability to apply their copyrights to IP if they don't apply them in available instance. This fulfills the role of both protecting the IP and not pissing off the fanbase, so power to them on that one. I'm very pleased that they managed to go ahead with this one, and I'll certainly be playing it when I've got the free time. |
