EDIT: How exactly is it tedious? If you mean requiring lots of micro, then yeah, I would expect that just like in DotA. |

Then they have a great lore, and a relativley well balanced character rooster (still could use a tweak or two). Basicly don't say no to it before you try it. |

HON is very similar to DOTA. LOL is pretty different outside of basic premise. (incidentally i prefer LOL because the community is slightly less retarded imo. also HON's matchmaking is notoriously poor at matching new players skill levels with other people's.) |

If you guys are tired of the Dota franchise you can go to Gamescampus to check out different titles of free to play games. |

You see im what you would call a noobcake, i make misstakes like misclicking and pressing the wrong buttons but i still manage you know why? Cause Me and him and her over there, we grew up on old Nes Consoles that used some kind of hand interference, let's take Deja Vu for example. Sure it's not RTS and it's hard as **** to missclick, but it still happend, so from a young age I have learned to compensate for missclicks, it started slow on the Nes then it got faster, we maybe got hold of a amiga or a pc or maybe we had something a little slower, like the Super Snes, you know that the Snes had a mouse do you sir, that was not a luxury we had on the Nes. That thing along with super mario Paint learned a generation how to undo missclicks well that and MarioVSWario. Then a couple of years later i got hold on a PC and there i felt that this is they way to go when it comes to clicking and as i had mastered bad clicking experience on other mashines why not try it on this one to cause to me this looks like the future. And I was damn right! Nowdays you kids have the wii and Boxes and game stations so you don't know how good you have it, try to play the flyswat game on a Snes and you see what i mean. So i don't see why you need to address such a tiny thing as a kiddy graphic, it's freaking remberant in comparison of a picture rendered on a Game and Watch. So don't come here and talk about graphics! |

Also excuse my ignorance, but what is Deja Vu? Was that a game too? Its just my preference as to the style of the game is portrayed to me. Its not that I have a problem with the graphics persay, but that with graphics like that comes less complexity to the game. Its like dumbing down gaming for the elderly oops~ I meant simplifing a game as to removing the strategy. ![]() Haha still I would have to say you can't compete with old school kiddy graphics specially what nintendo had been able to do and STILL do generation after generation. Just I have higher standards for PC games. |

Yeah Deja Vu is a old game for the Nes, i think it was ported from a Mac game but I can't really tell if it was first on Nes or Mac, it is in the same type of game as Shadowgate and Uninvited So to come to my real point, usually i don't care to much about graphics as i don't think it affects the game to much, if the settings aren't to high and the game lags due to that but that's another story but i can understand that people can be turned off from things due to it looking in a certain way, when it comes right down to it we are to much different to make something that everybody finds appealing. and a tip, go and say hello into the new members section, we always look for new members and we are a nice bunch of people here! Anyway, I decided to give HoN a try and registered an account. Hit me up if any of you wanna play. Screen name Fairlight_Ex. |

So the reviews about them having one of the worst scummunity on the internet is absolutely 100% true. However there is some hope after all - maybe when Valve makes DotA 2, it'll suck out the #1 argument in favour of Eugenics and leave this game and League of Legends with a better community. There are some good people on HoN, but the problem is that Murphy's Law states they're few and far in between, or if they are, they only play with each other and form iron-bound groups. Still I played it and had some enjoyment. I like League of Legends more, but the reasons so are for personal preference - and even League of Legends isn't free from Dot*******s. It's not recommended you play ranked games at 30. http://v.cdn.cad-comic.com/comics/ca...0520-ae447.png EDIT: Uncensored swear words in the comic. |

Huge difference. HON has GRIMDARK HELLGRAPHICS which is even more childish imo. also HON does not have rammus, the best hero. |
