This is a good start. Not everything can be downloaded for whatever reason, but if you're going for the old Maxis-Sim games or whatever, that's the site.

Syndicate was a game I played in my youth. You control a corporation and embark on missions with a squad of (up to) four cyborg agents. Pretty fun game, though it might not have aged well in terms of controls.

This is one instance in which I recommend NOT getting the Mega Man games.

!!!! Dude, what kind of games are you looking for? Because I love old PC games. If you don't have a lot of experience with the older pc genres, they are different, as in there are genres that no longer exist in the same form, many of which were never successfully ported.

Two of the best sidescrollers you could ever play are Commander Keen episodes 4-6 and Duke Nukem 2. DN2 isn't like the later games, in that it's not filled to the brim with facetious womanizing.

The only games I believe I have now that I need DOSbox to run are ADOM and Ultima Underworld. Both are pretty neat.

I don't think you need anything special for ADOM. I've been playing that on and off for years on Windows. Fantastic game.

^ I tried ADOM on my laptop and I wasn't able to run it without DOSbox. I'm using Windows 7 now, if that makes any difference.

Jere, I don't know about 7, but on my Vista laptop I didn't need to run Dosbox or anything, Simtower worked perfectly on its own.
