Features include raising level cap to 90, Monk class and the Panderan race (so I guess both factions can be panda, nice comprise). More details later. I'm a bit mixed: it's been less than a year since Cata launched. Knowing me though I'll read up and get all hyped up about it. (also I bet if warcraft 4 comes out every person that missed WoW will be all, "who are these guys what is happening" Last edited by X-3; 10-21-2011 at 02:22 PM. |

I feel my absence since May has made it rather difficult to jump back in the fray. Panderans? Man that's been a rumor since, what, Burning Crusade was still in the air? Blizzard Entertainment - Sign Up for World of Warcraft & Get Diablo III Free Blizzard is holding a promotion where if you agree to stay on WoW for 12 months, you get 1) Tyreal's mount (Air and ground, already have, like, two of those) 2) Guaranteed access to the beta for this expansion 3) A free copy of Diablo III. I wasn't interested in Diablo III before but... reveal trailer Hopefully this expansion has less Old Gods. I'm kinda getting sick of them, honestly. I liked the whole, "powerful monster that corrupts" thing when it wasn't in your face every quest. Compare C'thun to Yogg Saron and you'll get the idea. At level 10, your pandarean character chooses a faction. The Monk class starts at level 1 and is available to everyone except Goblins and Worgen. It can tank and heal. World raid bosses are back too. There's this pet-battling system and it sounds...um, hilarious I guess. New talent tree system sounds boring. edit: actually it sounds kinda cool in a way Hunter minimum range gone, no long needs melee weapon. No ranged/relics slot for any other class. Wands are main hand weapons now. Each warlock spec has own resource. Affliction has Soul Shard, Demonology has Demonic Fury that can metamorphosis into a demon and Destruction has Internal Embers. Buff totems are gone. Druids basically have 4 specs now. Bear separate from cat. You automatically learn spells. Last edited by X-3; 10-21-2011 at 04:36 PM. |

(ie: only Arms gets Slam now) You also have a tree where you pick a really good talent every 15 levels. You can only pick one: so, for example, you can't take two level 15 talents. They're usually similar in nature (ie: heal, survival) example: at level 30, Warlocks can pick Howl of Terror, Mortal Coil or Shadowfury. The ones that stood out to me: Warlocks can get this one that permanently improves their minions: so an Imp becomes a Fel Imp, Doomguard becomes a Terror Guard, etc. Or, instead you can get a talent that lets you summon another demon for 30 seconds. Priests have this one that switches their HP with a friendly target. DKs can get an AoE death grip. Shamans can move their totems to a selected location. Or, summon multiple totems of the same element. They'll probably put talents on the website soonish. I doubt this'll erase cookie-cutter specs though. |

Having seen the info for this, I'm curious but still not completely convinced that I'll return to WoW. Pokemon battles sound awesome, for passing the time. In the interests of being cool on the internet though, I'll say that it sucks and it's a kiddy feature. |

(Oh, you stopped and took a week off, and you don't have a Kara key or your heroic keys? Well sorry...I hear there's a group forming for Karazhan keys next month, maybe you can hop along.) |

The good news is my old guild is still somewhat active, and it sounds like they're in the middle of classic raids. The timing!Oh by the way in case you guys missed it (DOUBT IT lol) World of Warcraft and The Burning Crusade -- Together at Last! - World of Warcraft Burning Crusade is now automatically a part of vanilla. |

It's easy to imagine people being turned off from buying the game when they read it has three expansions to buy if you want to be where everyone else is at. Another good move: the two factions will have separate capital cities in Pandaria. Not too sure about the whole "trainers and points vendors are scattered around the continent" thin though. |

Who's the main antagonist here? A samurai flying squirrel? WoW is about global threats, armies of evil, landscapes being polluted and warped beyond recognition. This, this is bull****. |
