Personally, I *do* think the war is just and needed, but I wouldn't go either. Proper soldiers are professionals, these days.

Then again. We'd have lost WWII if...

Military now and military before WWII is totally different. US military before WWII was extremely small and unprepared. Draft was required then to even get the amount of bodies to go against the Axis. Draft in Vietnam proved why its a dangerous policy. Draftees generally kill troop morale and cause support for a shakey war to drop among the public since their sons are randomly being shot.
