A girl of 11 hanged herself after her mother banned her from watching Big Brother, an inquest heard yesterday.

I suppose it's possible, but I find it hard to believe the girl committed suicide over not watching a TV show. It's altogether possible something far worse had stressed her, and this was just the last straw, as the saying goes.

Ether they forgot the "the" in the article or their were more then just decorating objects thrown out. She must have been contemplating about it for awhile and these events struck the match. She might have felt that she never had any real control of her life and felt like she was a robot obeying orders and pleasing everybody.

Though most might have not seen anything unusual, she probably hid it inside her and put on an act that she was happy. Their also may have been some bullying in her eyes that other never saw it as.That could be one thing that lead up to it. It could also a fear of making it in the world or being good enough to make through school. Her not telling anybody about how she felt probably lead to a built up of emotions that made want to give up life. Maybe I'm thinking to deeply.
