Tashkent - Seven people were killed in Uzbekistan when an effort to excavate a toilet went badly wrong, the press-uz.info internet site said on Monday.

People argue about whether burning to death or drowning is a worse way to go. I think when you replace water with human waste in the comparison, drowning wins.

How much waste was in that toilet and how long has it been their?! I never knew feces could be that lethal. They should have not dug right next to the outhouse and had a ladder ready to escape. Now I understand the safety joke. That is a sad way to die. I would rather trying to escape. Let's honor those who had the courage to risk their lives to save the two. They died an honorable death.
