"Hello again class! I have an announcement to make! That was the last recess you're ever going to have, because recess is now considered "too dangerous" for you. It can't be supervised 100% of the time, so schools have to cut it from the schedule. Now, I'd move onto the next lesson, but chalk is also banned because somebody might eat it. I'd have you write things down, but there's no paper anywhere now because it might cause papercuts, and there's no pencils either because they're too sharp. If you have any complaints, I'm sorry, but you can't use words anymore in this room, because words can hurt people's feelings. I'm unable to start any lessons, actually, because since everybody needs the same amount of opportunity, trying to teach anything would be unfair to the kids that are not paying attention. So all you can do right now is sit on your chairs with completely rounded edges from now on; now I have to leave you all since teachers might get crazy and abusive. Have a nice day, class!"

This is stupid, and if they really want to make an excuse there's not enough supervision, they need to see to it that there is.
