I think this was a great thing that Bush did, it really improved the morale of those soldiers who he saw. And what's even better is, it's a slap in the face to the terrorists in Iraq. They missed a chance for a big kill.

He also didn't advertise it either. Nobody really knew about it till it was over.

This really does raise my respects a bit for him. I'm still not a fan of him, but it takes a lot of damn guts to risk that.

That's great and all, but nobody knew he was there till he was practically on the plane home.

It was almost blown once when someone asked if it was Air Force One. I think it was a RAF plane.

So? Acts of kindness, even by celebrities, don't always have to be known.

So? It means that he wasn't running around publically announcing himself and wasn't putting himself at a full risk. I think its great and everything, but I don't understand why people are making it out to be similar to someone throwing themselves on a grenade.

Actually, it seems more like they're comparing it to someone dancing around in the open while their opponent takes a nap. It's an insult to the opponent, not a praise to the dancer.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It's nice of him to do that, at least he hasn't forsaken the people fighting for him, but really, it's not that praiseworthy...
