Raiding a law-abiding citizen's own home and arresting them is tragedy; kicking the guy in the groin is comedy.

Come to think about it, is kicking assailants in the groin standard police training? Is it just "flash, flash, kick?" Or was it a stress relieving thing, like a team building exercise? Did they just line up in front of the guy, forming a queue, like kicking his groin was some sort of amusement park ride?
