Worst Mon name you've given? - VGF

Have you ever given a Mon a nickname only to regret it and have to go and change it?

Since I name all my Mons after VGF members, I don't have that hassle. Sometimes I change names because certain members want certain Mons named after them...

One playthrough, I was determined to nickname every Pokemon I picked up, which resulted in some stupid on-the-spot names. I think I named my Aerodactyl something terrible, like a portmanteau of some sort.

Some of them were so lame they were tolerable, though, like 'Rocky' for my Geodude.

I once named my Magikarp Mewtwo, then sent him at people. That scared them quite a bit. Then my Mewtwo named Magikarp killed them when they thought they had won.

Every 'mon that goes in a team I use, I nickname. And since I don't catch it unless I'm going to use it in a team....

I rarely, if ever, decide to change a name either.
