Claydol is kinda creepy, but I have used him quite a bit. I like his dual type, which exposes many weaknesses but can cover many types of Pokemon.

This poke freaked me out, plus I would always forget what type it was when I fought the Elite 4. But, on account of its potential effectiveness with the dual-type, I'll say 7.5/10

Uh, he's also immune to Ground because he has Levitate.

Ground and Psychic are two of my favorite types, but sadly I haven't put Claydol to much use in many games because I prefer having Graveler/Golem (Rock/Ground) and another Psychic hybrid (Slowbro, Exeggcutor, or even just regular Psys like Kadabra or Gardevior.)

In XD, where Claydol is available and Geodude isn't, however, he's very useful. 8/10.

I've always thought Claydol was very CA-UTE!!! And took him into many battles... because I could!!
