Two Pre-evos.
A Roselia pre-evo, which is meh. Grass/Posion
A Chansey Pre-evo, which we already knew about.

On to new ones completely.
New Electric, called Korinku. Class called Flash. Sort of Bear/dog style. Black, Blue and Yellow in colour.
New Normal, called Bippa. Class Round Mouse. Sort of Furry Rat. Brown colour.
New Rock type, Called Zugaidosu. Class Head Butting. Sort of Dinosaur, Blue, brown colour. Cool.
New Rock/Steel, called Tatetopusu. Class Shield. Sort of Dinosaur. Yellow, Brown in colour.
New Bug, called Minomucchi. Class Bagworm. Sort of Leaf. Green, Brown colour.
New Grass, called Masukippa. Class Flycatcher. Sort of Venus Fly trap. Green, red, and light green. Has Levitate as an ability.

As to other new. The Pearl and Diamond Legendaries are Steel/Dragon, and Water Dragon.

Kill the babies is all I have to say.
Steel/Dragon's only weakness is Ground, so that's pretty damn Uber.....

I was hoping that lion cub silhouette would've been tolerable. It sucks.

Anyone else think that the Tatetopusu is similar to one of the recent fake pokemon the peoples at Serebii made up?

Masukippa is friggin creepy. It's not the teeth, tentacle-thingys, or wierd spike-thingys on his head. It's the eyes. Why they designed the eyes to look like that, I will never know.

Also they don't seem to be many of those New type combos that they promised. Steel/Dragon, and Steel/Fighting seem to be the only two?

Edit: Also some interesting new news.
Two new pokeballs, Health and Dark. Health, healing the catched pokemon when first caught. Dark is better in Dark places, Caves and Night.

First Gym leader, is Ground type, has two Digletts, one new, and gives the Coal badge.
You see one legendary near a lake at the start town, you find a briefcase near by with is the Profs.
Leader of Team Galaxy is called Mars.

Aside from being ugly, the flytrap strikes me as looking like a Mario boss.

I want to know why there was never a Fire/Dragon. Fire and Dragons were made for each other.

I think it looks quite cool, rather than ugly....but then again. Venus fly traps aren't meant to be pretty.

^Yeah, but it's the eyes that freak me out. They're like huge buttons with on hole in 'em, and they're so close to the mouth it makes it look like crazy. If they didn't give it eyes, I'd be okay.

According to serebii's site. The two dinosaurus are the fossil pokemon of Di and Pe.
Zugaidosu=Di's Fossil
Tatetopusu=Pe's Fossil.

Hm, more reason for me to go with Diamond first (I always eventually get both/all three versions, but I always start with one for a while). I like Diaruga a little more than Parukia (although I still think they're both poorly designed, just Dia is the lesser of two evils), and the head-butt dinosaur more than the shield one.
